First Competition of the Year

Just like last year, we were able to host our pre-season game against the Wesseling Vermins on March 28. The fact that the games had to take place indoors due to a double booking of the field did not dampen the anticipation.

For us as coaches, these games represent an important first test. At the same time, they give us the opportunity to take an honest look at our performance and to clearly identify the areas in which we want to improve over the course of the season. Wesseling capitalizes on even the smallest mistakes and lapses in focus, highlighting how crucial concentration and error-free play are at this level.

At the same time, it was a valuable opportunity for us to try out new components. Four of our players were able to gain their first innings and collect important experience. We were aware that not everything would run smoothly on a day like this, and that is part of our shared development process.

All the more, we are satisfied with the current state and progress of our team. The players worked with great dedication on their skills over the winter, and that development was already clearly visible on the field.

A special thank you goes to the Wesseling Vermins for two intense and hard-fought games, as well as for the great atmosphere. We truly value these matchups and wish you a successful and injury-free season. We look forward to seeing you again.
