Establishing connection...
Since the beginning of 2015 I’ve been Head of Baseball & Softball at TSG Benrath.
I started out as the mom of a little baseball player, who is now a head taller than me today and still plays ball.
In order for players and coaches can let loose in our beloved sport, I see it as my role as the head of department to organize everything around it, so that it runs smoothly: in addition to many coordination tasks, such as the preparation of the schedule, I am the contact person of the Düsseldorf Senators for our members and for those who want to become one.
I am also the contact person for the main club and the association.
Last but not least, I am also involved as a B-Scorer for the Senators.

Since 2009 member of the Düsseldorf Senators and player in the women’s softball team
Since 2014 trainer and coach for the Senators’ offspring baseball in all age groups Tasks
currently:
Coach and coordinator of the women’s softball team
And why am I doing this?
Because I’ve been passionate about baseball since I first caught a ball and hit. This enthusiasm is increased by the game, which is so tactical, offers opportunities and is both an individual and a team sport. To share this enthusiasm, to accompany players in their development, to form a team that Playing together is fulfilling and, for me, one of the most beautiful opportunities in my free time to spend.
I started baseball in 1991

Since 2017 I`m the head coach of the Senators mens team

I have been involved in baseball since I was a child and the fire that started back then continues to burn in me today. I have been training the Düsseldorf Senators catchers in all age groups since 2016 and continue to develop myself through various catcher programs.
In 2017 I became part of the softball fun team of the Düsseldorf Wild Senators, which I have been responsible for since then.
If I succeed in conveying joy, passion and a sense of community, in kindling the little flame that makes this sport so unique, I know that I have done a good job.

Player for the Senators since 2011

Assistant Coach 12U since 2020
My name is Thomas Stölzel and I am a child of the 60s. During my active time as an athlete, I started writing match reports. After our son started playing baseball 6 years ago, I stepped up my writing activity again and tried to make this extremely interesting sport and the people involved in it more public in the press. I really enjoy getting to know new people and realizing common goals with them, because for me standing still means going backwards.
I am happy to see you here!
Briefly about me and how I found my way to and my enthusiasm for the senators.
In 2017 I was taken to the field with no prior baseball knowledge.
The enthusiasm was aroused quickly due to the warm welcome here!
I quickly got into the sport as a spectator. Long before that I had taken great pleasure in photography, which over time could be combined with the interesting games and I discovered it there as a little passion for me.
As a hobby photographer, I have been supporting the senators on this path with full joy since 2019.
