The association was founded to support the baseball and softball department “Düsseldorf Senators” in the TSG Benrath e.V. Essentially, the following measures are intended to raise funds for the base- and softball department:
All funds flow exclusively and directly to the baseball and softball department of TSG Benrath e.V. “Düsseldorf Senators”. The support association does not pursue any commercial purposes. All organs of the development association (members and board) are active on a voluntary basis.
The association is recognized as a non-profit organization and can also issue donation receipts.
In 2018, the foundation of the support association was prepared and planned based on an idea from among our supporters (organizational committee). In 2019, 10 members founded the support association and set the framework with a corresponding statute. The founding members consist of a group of active players and player’s parents from the 18U teams. In the past, these have already worked as part of the organizing committee to implement projects in the sport. This group is actively involved in shaping the future of the “Düsseldorf Senators” with “heart and soul”.
Since the beginning of 2015 I’ve been Head of Baseball & Softball at TSG Benrath.
I started out as the mom of a little baseball player, who is now a head taller than me today and still plays ball.
In order for players and coaches can let loose in our beloved sport, I see it as my role as the head of department to organize everything around it, so that it runs smoothly: in addition to many coordination tasks, such as the preparation of the schedule, I am the contact person of the Düsseldorf Senators for our members and for those who want to become one.
I am also the contact person for the main club and the association.
Last but not least, I am also involved as a B-Scorer for the Senators.

10 years (`87-`98) Bundesliga player for the Düsseldorf Senators and the Cologne Cardinals
4 years national player (`89-`94), participation in the B-EM in Parma and Ladenburg and A-EM in Stockholm`96-`98 first coaching experience as assistant / pitching coach for the Senators
3 years (`02-`06) coach of the 18U Wuppertal Stingrays
Since 2007 until today coach in all 18U age groups of the Senators
Bench coach men team since 2020
8 years pitching coach BSV-NRW 15U and partly 12U
