Two Losses, But a Season to Remember
The Düsseldorf Senators closed out the season in Jülich with two more hard-fought games. The hosts won both. Still, the two losses don’t change how the coaches and players will remember this season.
The Senators finished 13–11, the same record as last year, which puts them in a solid third place. Before the season we set ourselves the goal of committing fully to our young players. We met that goal.
By mid-season, things were moving faster than we’d planned. We hadn’t expected so many new players to join. That makes us all the happier about how our U16 players have grown: five of them are heading to the German Championships in Karlsruhe. There they’ll play together with the Cologne Cardinals as a combined team.
Good luck in Karlsruhe, ladies!
Wir drücken unseren Spielerinnen in Karlsruhe fest die Daumen!
