Season finale in Duisburg

The last game of our 2nd team took place today in Duisburg. In cool temperatures, the team around head coach Max was very motivated and started well in the first inning.
Both at bat and in defense, our Senators played on a par with the Flying Bats for long stretches.
Till and Andy showed special performances on the mound. Till, who has accompanied the team since the beginning of the season, showed nerves as a U15 player and started as a pitcher for the first time today as a senior. From the third inning onwards Andy took over and also impressed with confident pitching.
In the end, Duisburg won 8:13 and the Senators finished the season second to last.

The 2nd men’s team would like to thank head coach Max and everyone who supported us: umpires, scorers and helpers – without you this season would not have been possible.
