Opening Day in Zülpich
This Sunday our men’s Landesliga team around head coach Max Lauffer started the new season in Zülpich.
Our senators started highly motivated in the first few innings. Neither team scored in the the first 2 innings but in the third inning the Eagles turned up the bat and took a 7-0 lead.
After that, the game was quite balanced and both teams scored again and again.
The scoreboard showed the hosts winning 17-7 in the seventh inning.
A very positive aspect after the first game is the successful integration of the 18U players into our mens team.
