A new friendship is born

The Düsseldorf Senators’ training weekend with the Ridderkerk Rowdies was a resounding success and a strong symbol of international baseball solidarity.
Despite challenging weather conditions on Saturday, neither team let anything stop them and completed an intensive joint training session focused on fielding and hitting. Team spirit was always at the forefront. In the evening, this was further strengthened during a joint barbecue – a great opportunity to get to know each other better off the field.
Sunday then showed itself from its best side: Under bright sunshine, two exhibition games featuring the first and second teams were on the schedule. In a spirit of sportsmanship, both teams were able to gain valuable playing experience and demonstrate their skills.
This weekend was far more than just training and games – it marked the beginning of a new friendship between the Düsseldorf Senators and the Ridderkerk Rowdies. We look forward to seeing you again!
