TAKING A CLOSER LOOK

Our Batting Cage is from the last century…

says founding member and trainer Udo Kirschner about the Batting Cage, that is getting on in years. During his active time he was also in this very batting cage . It helps the players during practice and in pre-game to concentrate on their swing. It also protects the other participants from ricochets. This is particularly important for the youth teams! The build was repaired several times, but it warps more and more with each transport and thus becomes a risk for all involved.

The old Batting-Cage: crooked, heavy and damaged
After decades of use and loyal service, our old batting cage is getting on in years. It is a central component of every practice session and is therefore extremely important, both for the promotion of young talent and our Bundesliga team. That’s why we have to act: a new batting cage is needed.

However, the acquisition costs of 6000 € exceed our budget, because the Pandemic has effected our calculations too. Since no normal, public game operation was possible in 2020, our Förderverein was unfortunately unable to generate any income. So we are dependent on your support and have decided to start a crowdfunding campaign.
