Ups and downs
The Senators traveled to Ratingen with 15 players. And everyone was going to get get their playing time. All in all, the 5 pitchers did a good job and, unlike in the first game, the goose necks were well-manned and a head-to-head race up to the 6th inning. Then the Ratinger pulled away and the deficit could not be made up until the 9th inning. Despite the balanced ratio of hits (15/16) and only 2 more errors on the guest side, at the end of the day it was 14:22 for the Ratingers. Still, no reason to hang your heads, because the team supported and cheered each other well. The youngsters also gained a lot of experience from the game.
