A rare Sight.
The second game of the year against the Ratingen Goose-Necks in Düsseldorf took place in surprisingly nice weather on Sunday.
Highly motivated the Senators started their last home game of the 2022 campaign.
Solid defensive performance from the start set the tone early for the Senators Landesliga-Team. Caught Stealings, Pick Offs and Comebackers crowned a great day on defense.
On the offensive end the Team was once again able to put a up a plethora of runs reaching from good simple contact all the way to a run scoring triple.
Unlike the weeks before however this game was far away from a nail biter as the guests from Ratingen couldn’t pick up the pace until the 6th Inning. Unable to prevent the Mercy-Rule taking effect still, leading to a rare sight indeed; a 16:1 blowout.
